Since childhood, my affection for all things creative has been easily apparent to myself and most of the people around me. Whether it was bringing my camera on whatever was the next adventure my mother had planned for us or simply taking arts and crafts classes at my school, I have loved getting the opportunity create and share my works with as many eyes as I can. Throughout high school I was able to gain immense experience framing subjects and capturing the perfect moment while completing my obligations as the lead photographer for the school’s Kindergarten-through-12th grade yearbook. By the time graduation came around, I felt extremely comfortable with my camera sitting around my neck or in the palm my hand, ready at any time to freeze the moment within a photograph. Having the ability to observe and capture glimpses of our beautiful planet through the frame of my camera lens has consistently excited me regardless of the subject matter I am capturing, whether it be people, landscapes, or wildlife.

Although I originally gained my footing in photography using a digital camera, I have recently begun playing around with photographing the world on film, starting with my summer abroad in Italy captured entirely on disposable cameras. This project undoubtably was some of the most fun and excitement I have ever had taking photographs.

In addition to photography, many years ago I found myself very attracted to graphic design, leading me very recently into discovering the incredible world of digital art, and more specifically, digital drawings. Since discovering from a young age that drawing and painting on paper or canvas was not a natural talent of mine, the tools modern technology gives artists in the 21st century has opened up the floodgates to an entirely new world of artistic innovation, allowing artists including myself to take their abilities to a completely new level. By simply having whichever color you could possibly dream of directly at your fingertips, our imaginations can run absolutely wild. Even just the thought of all the opportunities the artists of the digital age have thrills me endlessly. I cannot wait to see what incredible artistic developments are still to come, and where the fantastic world of art will take us next!
